HIIT Training Parramatta

  • High Intensity Interval Training or HIIT Training classes provide an intense workout, maximising calorie expenditure and fat burning. This is achieved by continuously working large muscle groups with different exercises and minimising rest periods. Due to the lack of rest that HIIT training demands, your heart rate will remain elevated and you will be taken outside of your comfort zone. Saying this, the class does still cater for all levels of fitness as many of the routines work to an interval timer meaning you are able to work at your own pace.

    Our HIIT classes in Parramatta are fantastic method of training for people who are interested in weight loss, toning up and increasing overall strength. The combination of weight training and increased aerobic effort makes HIIT training a beneficial type of cross training. This type of interval training is a great way to increase the body’s ability to burn calories at rest (increased metabolic rate).

    HIIT classes are limited to 14 participants to ensure classes run efficiently. To maximise the benefits of circuit training we recommend you use this fitness class in conjunction with a strength and aerobic program. Back to Basics Health and Exercise has a number of classes available, which run for 30 to 60 minutes in duration. Please contact our friendly staff on 9687 7385 to book in your next class!

    Prior to Commencing HIIT

    • for hygiene reason, please ensure you supply your own towel (available for hire)
    • all participants will be required to complete a pre exercise questionnaire
    • wear appropriate attire to perform exercise
    • bring sufficient hydration

    Precautions

    • all exercise is done in a controlled environment under qualified supervision therefore your risk of injury is low
    • if you suffer from any cardiac conditions you may be required to obtain a medical certificate clearing you to commence exercise
    • prior to start of class, please inform the instructor if you have any injuries, illness or any chance of being pregnant
